hello and welcome!

i'm a 30+ year old kentuckian who has an eclectic taste for horror and fantasy in all forms. you can usually find me nose deep in a volume of manga, rewatching The Thing for the five thousandth time, perusing the lone horror books looking for my next read, or logging another obscure or psychosexual film on letterboxd

i love complicated themes and i love exploring the lesser, harsher sides of human nature. i'm a chronic 5-star rater because i generally have a good time with everything and if i'm not enjoying myself i just put the book down

while this blog is intended to focus on book reviews more than anything (where i can be found on storygraph, with reviews ranging between short and sweet to moderately detailed) i have as much as if not more of an interest in film and cinema, and manga and anime, so it shouldn't come as a surprise if i post something about a film or manga. i can be found in many other places across the internet such as twitter, letterboxd, myanimelist, and anime-planet

my pronouns are They/Them
